Abby Again

Well, the writing pretty much says it - Abby is just too cute. Basically I'm just testing out my watercolor moleskine with my travel palette and waterbrushes. Also used Micron pens - getting used to the tools before I hit the field.

Mid-June

So I got a new pen case a while ago - it's super cute, so I took a picture of it next to Abby :) It's really convenient to carry my sketching stuff, and somewhat discreet so I don't have drawing pens all over my desk at work :P

I'm also working on a zine with Ethel - Here's a sample page of one of my comics. The "Martha" character isn't based on someone I actually work with, there are no Martha's in my office - she's more of a combination of several people I've worked with at various jobs I guess.

Tudra Princess

A character design I was working on for a few days - those first few sketches I did at work while on hold on the phone, then I did a more detailed sketch, scanned it in and colored it.

Unicorn Girl

Here's a character drawing I rather enjoy - I like working with pen and watercolor, it can be very soothing... but also really annoying when my cat is trying to walk on my painting and drink my paint water. Anyway, she's just unicorn girl, trapped in a circus. I'm thinking of making prints of her for my shop maybe.

Horned girl

Just a small sketch - I think I'll use her as a graphic on my business card or something.

Well, it's been a long time since I've uploaded anything - I've been really into sketching lately - great practice, but not much to put up on my site. I have this idea for a project - a book and print project - which is mostly illustrations based on my character designs for a surreal fantasy. Here's a little peek at my first one. Hope you enjoy!
